What Is Green Horn Kratom?
Green Horn Kratom has a very distinct smell, which leaves it fresh and clean. Some describe it as freshly cut morning grass. The leaves used to create this strain are some of the rarest and hardest to find. Because of this, not all vendors will offer Green Horn. However, you can grab yours right here on Oasis Kratom.
Where Does Green Horn Kratom Originate From?
Most strains of kratom will be named after the area in which they originated. This is not the case for Horn Kratom. This strain comes from unique leaves that are shaped to resemble horns. The edges of the leaf are smooth, but Green Horn leaves do have spikes that resemble Horns.
Green Horn Kratom can be found in different parts of Indonesia. It is very rare and in high demand. So much so that farmers are not able to supply large amounts. This is mainly because this strain comes from fully mature leaves.
Kratom farmers believe that the horns help provide high potency levels for this strain. Horned leaves tend to yield a higher alkaloid profile. While many people think that Green Horn Kratom comes from a unique tree, this is not the case. In reality, Red Horn, Green Horn, and White Horn kratom all come from the same tree. Green strains come from the middle section of the tree. This allows them to get plenty of hydration and more sunlight than White Horn does.
How Is Green Horn Kratom Made?
Green Horn Kratom will be harvested at the middle stages of the leaf’s life. White veined kratom is harvested at the youngest stage and red vein kratom is the most mature.
Once harvested, this green strain will undergo a specialized drying process. During this time the alkaloids will reach their peak potency levels.
The leaves will then be crushed into a powder, packaged, and sold to vendors. The powder can also be used to create a number of other products, such as extracts and capsules.

The American Kratom Association
Kratom is not a regulated industry. Each state is left to decide how they want to handle kratom. Some have banned its use, while others have allowed individuals to make their minds up about this ancient herb.
Because kratom lacks regulation, The American Kratom Association was formed. This group offers support when it is needed. They have been successful in overturning many legislations. Allowing kratom to remain legal in a number of states.
Also, The AKA has designed a set of protocols for vendors to follow. While GMP regulations are not mandatory we find them very important. As a member of the AKA, we adhere to all GMP regulations. This allows us to provide our consumers with products that are free of contaminants and unadulterated. Plus, you are getting the highest-quality products on the market.
The American Kratom Association is also working to get all states on board with the Kratom Consumer Protection Act. This Act will regulate the industry, keep consumers safe, and help calm the worry that lawmakers have about kratom.
